Conference changes for Season 15 announced
The following realignment moves were announced for Season 15.
- George Washington (Big Ten) and Penn State (A10) have switched conferences.
- Abilene Christian (MWC) and Texas A&M (SEC) have switched conferences.
UConn starts Season 15 atop preseason polls
The UConn Huskies will start the season ranked No. 1 in the preseason poll for Season 15. Led by National Player of the Year frontrunner wing Shawn Gallagher, Connecticut is eyeing its second title in program history this upcoming season. Rounding out the top five in the preseason poll is Saint Joseph’s, Wake Forest, Minnesota and Saint Louis.
Season 15 start date set
Season 15 is set to begin Friday, Oct. 28 with the annual Offseason Budget phase. The Season 15 roster, schedule, promotions and more will be released in the coming days.

Realignment move involving mid-major powers
Delaware St. and Monmouth announced a realignment partnership. Delaware St. is set to join the MAAC while Monmouth will move to the CAA.

Perkins named No. 1 overall prospect for Season 14
Shaun Perkins, a 6-7, 240-pound power forward out of Toledo, Ohio, is the consensus No. 1 overall recruit for the Season 14 class. The rapidly developing mid-range threat has been labeled a “generational talent” by scouts nationwide and is a possible one-and-done prospect. Perkins’ camp has remained quiet as far as recruiting timeline, though sources say he expects to take his time throughout the process.
