NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR:
Jalen Suggs, Gonzaga
It makes sense, given the Zags roster, that some would doubt Suggs’ ability to make as big of an impact as some of the other newcomers in the conference. However, as a top 10 recruit with a killer offensive mindset, Suggs will have multiple games in which he looks the part of the most talented player in the conference. Unless he falls off for a stretch, expect Suggs to win the Newcomer of the Year award.
