Following a two-game showdown to decide the tourney’s top two seeds, UMBC and Vermont usher in the 2021 iteration of the America East conference tournament.
Vermont took Game 1 by a 80-71 decision before UMBC responded with a 66-55 victory in the Thursday/Friday series. Naturally, these two squads have combined to win the past three AEC automatic bids and will look to run the streak to four this year.
