New college basketball AP Top 25 rankings: Kentucky falls out of picture

Gonzaga and Baylor remain atop the AP Top 25 after Saturday’s COVID-19-related cancellation prevented a star-studded matchup between No. 1 and No. 2.

Instead, the Bulldogs and Bears had a quiet weekend and retain their spots in the rankings. Elsewhere, Michigan State enters the top five at No. 4 after wins over Duke, Detroit and Western Michigan. Kentucky, meanwhile, falls out of the picture entirely after losses to Kansas and Georgia Tech drop the Wildcats to 1-3, which is the program’s worst start in two decades.
