Pac-12 stars to watch
Chris Duarte, Oregon
With Payton Pritchard off to the NBA, Oregon has a huge hole ready to fill by anyone who is willing to step in as the team leader. While Will Richardson likely becomes the team’s point guard, Chris Duarte proved last season that he can be the top option scorer when needed. In order for Oregon to compete for a Pac-12 title, Duarte will need to put up numbers that would get him into Player of the Year consideration.
Oscar Da Silva, Stanford
My most improved player last season, Oscar Da Silva is the best stretch forward in the conference, and will once again be a leader on the Stanford roster. He will be pushed by Ziaire Williams for the top option role, but his all-around game will make him an early All-Pac-12 performer.
