Toledo’s men’s basketball program has announced that all activities have been put on pause after six players tested positive for COVID-19.

The news comes after Toledo head coach Tod Kowalczyk also tested positive on Sunday.

The university’s athletic department issued a statement Wednesday afternoon:

As a result of the positives, the program will be forced to pause all activities for at least two weeks.

The 2020-21 college basketball season is set to begin Nov. 25. Toledo has its first MAC game on Jan. 2 at Western Michigan.
