It’s the WAC tournament where Grand Canyon tries to take advantage of New Mexico State’s down season.

It was pretty clear before the season even started that this New Mexico State team was not on par with those from the last few years. This step back, along with their issues with COVID protocols, meant that the Aggies were never able to find any rhythm. As a result, Grand Canyon finally cashed in and won a share of the WAC regular season championship along with Utah Valley.

However, this regular season title will be nothing but a consolation prize if the Antelopes are not able to secure their first ever NCAA Tournament bid. Can Bryce Drew make it to his fourth NCAA Tournament as a head coach, or will another team stop Grand Canyon in its tracks?
