With more bubble teams than NCAA Tournament locks, a wide-open ACC Tournament promises to be as entertaining as ever.
The ACC had another down year by the conference’s lofty standards, but the parity we saw all season should make for an extremely entertaining ACC basketball tournament.
The teams at the top are the ones that have been the conference’s best over the past half-decade with Virginia winning their third ACC regular season title in four years and Florida State finishing right behind them, yet the biggest story headed into Greensboro might be the Duke Blue Devils.
After closing the regular season with three straight losses, Duke is on the wrong side of the NCAA Tournament bubble and will likely have to win the auto bid to make the Big Dance. They’re also the No. 10 seed, meaning they have to play on the tournament’s first day for the first time ever.
What else should you be watching for in the ACC Tournament? Here’s everything you need to know.
