Projecting college basketball NET quadrants and team-sheet opportunities for the 2021-22 season.

One of the biggest determining factors in a college basketball season is decided even before opening night.

In a sport with over 350 teams, not every program has the same number of chances to beat quality opponents. This imbalance allows the major conferences to stack up at-large bids while the vast majority of the college landscape is only represented by an automatic bid. As a result, schedules play a huge role in determining which teams play in the postseason.

While pro sports like the NFL or NBA know strength of schedules as soon as schedules are released, their postseason teams are selected simply by wins and losses.

This isn’t the case in college basketball, where a 12-loss ACC team may receive a tournament bid over a 6-loss SoCon team. But this explains why understanding team schedules and how the matchups impact NET rankings and NET quadrant opportunities is so vital to any studious college basketball fan.

Below you will find NET quadrant projections and NET team-sheet value rankings.
